Description
This form has reduced chlorophyll and a strikingly variegated epidermis, ranging from yellow through orange to red. Its unusual coloration makes it highly ornamental and sought-after by collectors. It is extremely prolific in offsetting, sometimes forming an offset on almost every areole. The offsets detach very easily. We will try to pack the cactus so that offsets do not break off, but if you receive a cactus with detached offsets, you can try to graft them. It should never be exposed to direct sunlight.
Uses grafting stocks are Harrisia pomanensis, or Myrtillocactus geometrizans
Harrisia requires slightly more frequent watering
