Description
Astrophytum myriostigma – Bishop’s cap cactus. The body is no typically formed by five ribs, but only 4 ribs, it is smooth, spineless, and grey-green in color, covered with fine white flecking (trichomes). It produces pale yellow flowers at the apex, from late spring to late summer.
It prefers bright light, but It tolerates direct sunlight a well-draining neutral mineral substrate, moderate watering, and a cool, dry winter rest.
