Description
Astrophytum myriostigma f. tricostatum is a rare form characterized by having only three ribs instead of the typical five. The body is smooth, spineless, and grey-green in color with a reduced number of white flecks. It produces pale yellow flowers at the apex, from late spring to late summer.
