Description
Astrophytum myriostigma f. tricostatum is a rare form characterized by having only three ribs instead of the typical five. The body is smooth, spineless, and grey-green in color, covered with fine white flecking. It produces pale yellow flowers at the apex, from late spring to late summer.
This form prefers bright light a well-draining mineral substrate, moderate watering, and a cool, dry winter rest.
