Description
Mammillaria chionocephala is a small, globular cactus native to central Mexico. It grows 5–8 cm tall and 6–10 cm wide, forming dense clusters over time. The cactus is covered in white, woolly hairs and fine, short spines, giving it a “snowy” appearance.
It produces bright pink to magenta flowers in a ring around the apex, which contrast beautifully with the snowy white body. Mammillaria chionocephala thrives in full sun to partial shade, with well-draining soil and minimal watering, allowing the substrate to dry completely between waterings.
