Description
Gymnocalycium hybrid ANPAUL (andreae × paucisquamosum) is a cultivated hybrid created by crossing Gymnocalycium andreae with Gymnocalycium paucisquamosum. It typically forms a small, globular body with well-defined ribs and fine spines, combining traits of both parent species. The plant is especially appreciated for its flowers, which are often relatively large and may display white – yellow inherited from G. andreae with pink tones inherited from G. paucisquamosum. As a hybrid, its appearance can vary, with differences in spine density, rib shape, and coloration. It prefers bright light, well-draining soil, and moderate watering during the growing season. This hybrid originates from cultivation and does not occur naturally in the wild.
